Creative Development is a team sport. Razor has built a stacked team consisting of founders Stephen Brander and Rich Gould along with an incredible roster of strategic alliances, partners and support resources that allows us to take on just about any creative assignment.

Stephen Brander

(The Words)

  • Stephen has been in the business since 1991 shortly after graduating with a B.Comm. (Major in Marketing) from Mount Allison University.
  • Developed the website for 2tongues.ca which won an Ice Award
  • Had work for McCain Pizza Pockets and McCain Roasters profiled in Strategy Magazine.
  • Helped relaunch Triumph motorcycles in Canada
  • Introduced natural gas to the province of New Brunswick.
  • Has won several national and international awards and has had his work recognized by General Motors of Canada, the Economic Development Industry as well as others.
  • Helped developed the name and positioning for Atlantic Lottery’s online club and e-commerce sites: “eClub Rewards” and “PlaySphere.
  • Helped develop a campaign for chocolate milk that increased consumption by 12% in one year.
  • Helped develop the ”Cool Caps” loyalty program for Moosehead Breweries that saw redemption rates in excess of 33%.
  • Developed the Cleve’s Sporting Goods “So Shoe Me” event. First developed in 1993, it is still used annually.
  • Has developed many popular taglines some of which include: NB Power’s “Look out for the lines”; Milk Maritime’s “Now you’ve got something” and Greater Moncton’s “Success happens”.
  • Is a self-taught unicycling juggler.


Rich Gould

  • Rich is also a Commercial Design graduate from Holland College in Charlottetown, PEI and has been plying his craft professionally since 1991.
  • Was a lead creative consultant, designer, illustrator, and developed the overall brand identity for the Maine Discovery Children's Museum in Bangor, Maine.
  • Has had several corporate logos selected and published in the “American Corporate ID” and “LogoLounge” books.
  • Created a logo design, illustrations and a series of full-page colour print ads for Stephen King’s e-book, “The Plant” which ran in worldwide editions of USA Today, New York Times, Publisher's Weekly, TV Guide among others.
  • Helped developed the name, positioning, and branding for Atlantic Lottery’s online club and e-commerce sites: “eClub Rewards” and “PlaySphere”.
  • Designed packaging for a popular children’s toy “The Skyliner” which has sold millions in the U.S. and consistently sells-out at Disney World.
  • Helped develop a campaign for chocolate milk that increased consumption by 12% in one year.
  • Has had several published illustrations in Muscle & Fitness magazine.
  • Designed and illustrated a series of tissue box designs for Royale Facial Tissue, one of which tested as the top tissue box design of all Canadian brands two years in a row.
  • Designed a logo for his Mother’s sewing business. She loves it.
